Thrash metal legends Testament are set to reissue a remastered version of their 1989 album ‘Practice What You Preach’. To mark the occasion, the band has released a remastered version of the track ‘Envy Life’. The original album was a pivotal moment in the band’s career, as it was their first to hit the Top 100 on the Billboard 200 charts, with the title track receiving radio airplay and their music videos being staples on MTV’s Headbanger’s Ball.
The remastered album, which was remastered by Justin Shturtz at Sterling Sound, will be available digitally on May 8, along with a limited edition 180G vinyl on Yellow and Orange Swirl with Black Splatter. The album will feature brand new artwork from the original cover artist Bill Benson, as well as a 20-page booklet with old photos and documents provided by Chuck Billy and Eric Peterson, and new liner notes. The band’s lead vocalist, Chuck Billy, has expressed his excitement about the release, stating that it’s a great opportunity to bring the classic album to new and younger audiences.
