Shakira is set to bring her historic world tour to Madrid with a special three-night residency at a temporary venue, dubbed the Shakira Stadium. The event, scheduled for September 25-27, promises an immersive experience, integrating cinema, gastronomy, literature, and exhibitions curated by the artist herself. This unique format, designed to provide greater control over the audience experience and production scale, follows recent trends in Europe, such as Adele’s 2024 Munich show.
The announcement comes after Shakira revealed plans to take her Las Mujeres Ya No Lloran World Tour to Spain with a custom-designed production. The tour, which began in February 2025, has already set a Guinness World Record as the highest-grossing tour by a Hispanic artist, with $421.6 million in sales and 3.3 million tickets sold across 86 shows. Tickets for the Madrid residency go on sale on March 27, with the artist set to perform at other iconic venues, including Brazil’s Copacabana beach, before her Spanish shows.
