Cody Simpson has signed with BMG, marking his return to music after a six-year hiatus. The singer-songwriter took a break to focus on competitive swimming, but is now back with new music. His first releases under the deal are the singles ‘Baby Blue’ and ‘When It Comes to Loving You,’ set for release on March 27. Both songs are co-written by Simpson and produced by Harrison Borts.
Simpson’s return to music is met with excitement, as he expresses his joy in creating new sounds. ‘I wanted to create expressions of joy, like bottling the coming of spring, or the sun rising,’ he said in a statement. With his new deal with BMG, Simpson is ready to share his music with the world once again, bringing a fresh sound and a renewed passion for his craft.
