BTS’ highly anticipated comeback album, ‘ARIRANG’, has made a blockbuster debut on streaming platforms. On Saturday, March 21, Spotify announced that ‘ARIRANG’ has become the most-streamed album in a single day in 2026 so far, setting a new record as the most-streamed K-pop album in Spotify history. The album, which dropped on Friday, March 20, was already making waves before its release, with over five million presaves on Spotify.
The 14-track album, featuring productions by Diplo, Kevin Parker, Mike WiLL Made-It, and Ryan Tedder, presents the group in a more mature and artistically refined light. To celebrate the album’s release, Spotify has partnered with BTS to offer fans immersive experiences, including a music quiz, album listening party, and private fan event. With ‘ARIRANG’, BTS ties together history and K-pop excellence, marking their first album in six years, following their 2020 release ‘Be’ and a series of solo projects during their mandatory military service in South Korea.
