Barry Keoghan has expressed his enthusiasm for the upcoming Beatles biopic, where he will play Ringo Starr. The film is one of four simultaneously released biopics, each focusing on a different member of the band. Keoghan will be joined by Paul Mescal as Paul McCartney, Joseph Quinn as George Harrison, and Harris Dickinson as John Lennon. The unique format of the films was discussed on Sirius XM’s The Julia Cunningham Show, where Keoghan described his co-stars as ‘brothers’.
Keoghan’s experience filming the biopic has been positive, with the actor praising director Sam Mendes. The first official images of the actors in character have been released, generating excitement for the films’ 2028 release. Keoghan recently appeared on The Julia Cunningham Show to promote his new film, Peaky Blinders: The Immortal Man, and discussed his other projects, including the 2023 film Saltburn.
