Soccer star Jorginho has alleged that an encounter with Chappell Roan’s security in São Paulo, Brazil, left his 11-year-old daughter ‘extremely shaken’ and in tears. The incident occurred when Jorginho’s daughter, a fan of the singer, spotted Roan at a hotel restaurant where they were having breakfast. According to Jorginho, his daughter simply walked past Roan’s table, looked to confirm it was her, smiled, and went back to sit with her mum without approaching or asking for anything.
However, a large security guard allegedly came over to their table and spoke in an ‘extremely aggressive manner’ to Jorginho’s wife and daughter, saying that she shouldn’t allow her daughter to ‘disrespect’ or ‘harass’ other people. Jorginho has expressed his disappointment and sadness over the incident, stating that it’s sad to see this kind of treatment coming from those who should understand the importance of fans. Chappell Roan has since responded to the claim, stating ‘I do not hate children’.
